The RotoRollers technology

System rollers are made up of an inner core and an external part in silicone rubber and foam. The die box is obtained on the roller surface by manifold microscopic cavities arranged to house small glaze quantities inside. This peculiar structure results in a special tile decorating process.
In particular, the silicone cylinder enables:
  • to arrange the glaze on an engraved die box composed of manifold cavities, obtained on a smooth and elastically deformable cylinder section;
  • to remove by a squeegee the excess glaze applied on the die box. The squeegee also continuously mixes the glaze partially renewing it inside the cavities;
  • to transfer the glaze inside the cavities by direct contact, namely by rolling without scraping the die box, on the tile surface below.
The roller production process has been designed and patented by System, still now the only producer of silicone rollers able to industrialize their production. Such peculiar feature enables System to guarantee its customers steady quality and technical features of the products, complying with top level chemical and technical requirements that ensure top aesthetics and quality in the ceramic products.
